In addition, we work with a number of fantastic caterers who have extensive experience creating delicious food for a wide range of dietary needs and group preferences, including:

Katie runs a small business offering retreat & event catering, specialising in plant-based, whole-food cuisine.
“I am a nutritional therapy practitioner so I put huge emphasis on providing nutrient-dense & nourishing food. All my food is gluten free, refined sugar free, vegan & organic where possible. I especially love catering for yoga & wellness retreats.. or any groups who love the idea of eating healthily!”

Doris Zuur, Home Cooking Plus
Doris, and Home Cooking Plus, specialises in wholesome cooking, all homemade, using as much seasonal, local and organic ingredients as possible – plus love and care!
She personalises her service around practical circumstances and can cater to all dietary needs. She also enjoys hearing about your likes and tastes and strives to create a menu around your favourite recipes (such as your grandma’s apple cake!).
Doris is used to catering at Waihōanga – her cooking style complements the values and environment of this beautiful retreat in nature.
Jules Barber, healthy, fresh, real food catering
Jules caters for her own and other group retreats and events around New Zealand, offering healthy options ranging from simple vegetarian to all organic and raw.
Having been in the holistic health business for many years as a natural health consultant and nutritional guide specialising in raw food, Jules is passionate about healthy living and putting ‘life on the plate’ with nourishing meals.
Her food is delicious, creative, free of refined sugar, additives, colourings & preservatives and her salads are out of this world! She’s happy to chat about your requirements – she’ll create menus to suit you, be they vegan, vegetarian, gluten/dairy/wheat free or simply great wholesome food.
Seriously Pickled Catering Kitchen & Deli specialises in drop off catering. Their food is seriously good wholesome home cooking which can be reheated and served with minimum fuss. They have adaptable menus and all dietary preferances are catered for.
Kapiti Katering offer a wide range of catering options including for special events, business meetings, drop-off meals and full in-house service depending on your needs.
Drop-offs, events and one-off meals
If you don’t want in-house catering for your whole stay, but would like a bit of help in the kitchen, we also work with a number of local businesses who can drop-off pre-prepared meals (great for smaller groups), create side dishes, salads and grazing tables.
