Once numbers go over about 40, and amplified music is involved, there are some additional considerations to be aware of before you book Waihōanga.

This PDF outlines the nuts and bolts of holding a large event at Waihōanga.

In brief, this includes
– bookings must hire a marquee and portable toilets
– out of respect for our neighbours, amplified music can only be played for up to four hours on one evening per weekend, with a 11pm curfew
– guests need to use the Waihōanga sound system (which is plenty loud!)
– live music is only allowed if not amplified
– no dogs or other animals
– we have a sensible drinking policy
